Robo-FTP Server Console will not function properly until Robo-FTP Server is running as a windows service

This can happen if the Robo-FTP Server service installation fails. The installation is normally completed automatically but may fail for a number of reasons.

One rare cause of this problem is when other third party software prevents the service from being installed and started. For example, some anti-spyware applications such as "McAfee Anti-spyware Maximum Protection" are known to interfere with the the service installation process.

If the service installation fails please disable any anti-spyware software like that and restart the server console.
