What does a "SSH/SSL components not installed" error mean? (Robo-FTP 3.6.x and earlier)

The SSH/SSL secure file transfer functionality is an installation option. If you are experiencing this error, the first thing to do is make sure that you selected this optional component at installation time.

If you did install the component (you can verify this by making sure that you see the "wodFtpDLX.dll" file in the Robo-FTP home folder) then the SSH/SSL components may not have been registered to Windows properly at installation time. You can do this manually by opening a Command Prompt (DOS) window and typing the following commands:

c:
cd \Program Files\Robo-FTP\regdll

If you installed Robo-FTP to a different drive or folder, type those instead of the one shown above. The SSH/SSL components are now ready for use.
