Are proxy servers supported using Robo-FTP?

Proxy servers may be defined when you predefine a Managed Site record using the Configurator utility. Click the "Use Proxy Server" box when Adding or Editing a site and you will be able to specify the user name, etc. to establish a proxy server connection. When a proxy server is defined for a particular Managed Site, the FTPLOGON command automatically logs onto the servers in the correct sequence.

You can also specify proxy logon information on the FTPLOGON command directly. Look in the help file for this command and look at the /proxy=, /proxyuser=, /proxypw=, etc. options. Note that /gw is also an acceptable prefix for these options ("gw" is short for "gateway" - proxy servers and gateway servers mean the same thing).

By default Robo-FTP will use proxy settings configured in Internet Explorer when the /servertype option to the FTPLOGON command is set to HTTP or HTTPS.
