I need to make a secure FTP connection using explicit SSL, but I do not see this option. Does Robo-FTP support this type of connection?
Yes, there are three connection options that use explicit SSL.
- FTPS (FTP + SSL) Control + data
- FTPS (FTP + SSL) Control only
- FTPS (FTP + SSL) Data only
Explicit SSL is the standard way to do FTP over SSL. Therefore, in general you will not see an option for "FTPS with explicit SSL," but rather just "FTPS."
