The Robo-EDIT script file editor is not highlighting the script language syntax. What is wrong?

Something has happened to your editor settings.

Robo-FTP 3.7.x and earlier

NOTE: Only experienced users should attempt these steps.

Follow these steps to restore the Robo-EDIT default settings:

  1. Using the Windows registry editor delete the following registry hive:

    HKxx\Software\Robo-FTP\Robo-EDIT

(Where HKxx is either HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and/or HKEY_CURRENT_USER depending on how Robo-FTP was installed.)

  1. From the Windows Start menu, launch Robo-EDIT as normal.

The default Robo-EDIT settings should now be restored. The local copy of the "roboedit.properties" file is deleted as a normal consequence of this action.

Robo-FTP 3.8.x and later

Run the installer for your version of the software. The installer will ask if you want to Repair, Modify, or Uninstall. Choose Repair and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.

If you do not have the installer for your version of the software, upgrading to a newer version of the software will also fix these settings.
